In 2021 I was lucky enough to attend a weekend of British Touring Car Championships at Oulton Park with a great friend. It was my first return to a circuit in some years and it can’t have been that bad for my friend as he’s asked me to return again, this time to go to Thruxton.

It’s the fastest track on the calendar (or it was a few years ago when I read that stat), I’ve been before, but not for an event or anything.. I’ve sat in an RX8 doing donuts and literally walked around a little bit of the outside of the track. It’s mostly a track which is lined with fields from memory, so how much of it is explorable, is unknown to me. But it will be fun!
