With 30 years of inclusive practice behind them, Candoco Dance Company looks to the future by presenting a programme of new dance works, performances, talks and film installations as a prologue to the next chapter in their rich history.
Spilling out of the Lilian Baylis Studio and into the Fox Garden Court, this event will include brand new creations by independent dance artist Annie Hanauer, and choreographer Seke Chimutengwende. The programme will also include excerpts of an intimate and detailed performance practice developed by Markéta Stránská and Charlie Morrissey, and an immersive ASMR (autonomous meridian sensory response) film installation experience from multidisciplinary artist Jo Bannon.
I’ve seen the Candoco Dance Company earlier this year at The Lowry and they were amazing there, so this should be something different from them, something interactive perhaps. I am intrigued!
